NBC’s police drama/fantasy series “Grimm” has renewed for a sixth season, The Oregonian reports. The Portland (Ore.)-set prime time series is currently airing the fifth season.
“Grimm” is a show about fantasy morphing characters known as Wesens residing in Portland, Oregon. Portland Police detectives Nick Burkhard (David Giuntoli) and his partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) solves brutal murder cases involving Wesens, and working with their captain, Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz).
Each “Grimm” episode bases its story from the Brothers Grimm fairy Tales, but the entire series story continues from the very first episode. “Grimm” is a series best understood if watched from start.
“Grimm” launched in October 2011, also starring Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bree Turner, Reggie Lee, and Claire Coffee.
Silas Weir Mitchell, who plays the wolf-like Wesen known as blutbad named Monroe, also appeared at HOWLCON 2012.
